1. Is 24 Angels Home Care providing nursing home facilities?

No, we don’t encourage family members to send their loved ones to nursing homes/old folks home. We believe the best place for patients to heal is at their comfort home. They can heal faster by being together with their family. With the current technology, you can book quality yet affordable home/private nursing services through web and mobile applications. All the basic medical and non-medical care, physiotherapy and allied health services can be delivered to your home premises.

2. Do 24 Angels Home Care use part-time nurses/locum?

Yes, we do have part-time nurses that are qualified. Almost all government and private agencies and nursing service providers use part-time nurses as well.

3. Are 24 Angels Home Care nurses qualified to provide home nursing?

Yes, all our nurses (permanent and part-time) are state registered nurses with Malaysia Nursing Board. They have at least 2 years of clinical experience.

4. What type of home care services 24 Angels provide?

List of services is available at 24angelscare.com, however our services range from simple housekeeping, running errands, companion care, nursing care to post-natal care. To ensure we deliver the best care to your loved ones within your budget, we will conduct a free care assessment, in patient’s home during first visit.

5. Where do you provide services?

We currently cover most areas in Klang Valley and Penang. We identified the great need of home care services in Malacca, Ipoh and Johor. However, we do not have physical presence in those areas, but we do have partners that we can to you.

6. Do I have a say on who comes to my home?

Yes. We encourage your participation in the care process. With our thorough screening process, you can have peace of mind that we

always send the suitable candidates taking into consideration your language preferences and nurses specialty. However, you must be satisfied. We always try to accommodate all requests related to the changing the caregiver/nurses with valid reasons.

7. Can I change or discontinue the services my loved one receives?

You can change the number or type of services whichever you feel is necessary. We will discuss with you about the care needs prior making changes, at the same time we are very flexible when comes to the changes or discontinuation of services. Moreover, you're never bound to a long-term contract, so you can discontinue your relationship with 24 Angels Home Care at your discretion.

8. Why is it not worth for you to bypass 24 Angels Home Care and deal directly with the nurses?

I. You do not have the convenience of changing schedules, changing nurses/caregivers, and even unable to lodge complain if receive bad quality services.

II. Not all experienced nurses are good in house call, working in hospital setting and house setting is very different, thus we provide certain trainings which are made compulsory for every nurses that join us.

III. We have a senior nurse to do regular spot check and patient progress monitoring to ensure the good quality of care delivered to clients.

9. Do I pay the nurse/caregiver of 24 Angels directly?

No, you are invoiced after completion of services. Usually will be a weekly basis. You will never have to pay our nurses/caregivers directly or even give them additional fees. We did encounter clients that paid directly to our part-time nurses without us knowing and the nurses disappeared with their payment made. Furthermore, clients cannot contact the nurse/caregiver directly to engage future services due to the Privacy and data protection policies.

10. Will my family member always receive care and treatment from the same nurse/caregiver?

Our goal is to establish trustworthy and long term relationship with you and family. If clients would love to stick with only one nurse/caregiver, we can do that. However, if the care plan takes many hours in a day, throughout midnight or even stay-in, it will be necessary to schedule more than 1 nurse/caregivers. We are committed to take necessary steps to achieve your goals.

11. Do I need a physician's authorization for 24 Angels home care services?

No, you do not need prescription or authorization from doctor to engage our services. You decide the services you want, when to use and how to use our services. If you need assistance with billing a private insurance policy (such as long term care insurance), we are glad to facilitate the coordination process. We will inform you the required medical documents from your doctors which are needed for the reimbursement by an insurance company.

12. What are the costs of your 24 Angels home care services?

2. Non-medical or medical care

14. How does the cancellation policy of 24 Angels Home Care works?

Once a care visit is scheduled, 24 Angels’ nurses/caregivers will lock their time out for seniors and patients accordingly.

Cancelling a scheduled visit would potentially cause a loss of income for our angels (nurse/caregiver) as the lead time may be too short for us to assign her to another job.

Therefore, visits that are cancelled within 24 hours are charged in full as scheduled. Visits cancelled 24 hours or more before the scheduled time are not charged.
